Jen was seventeen when she found out her mother had breast cancer; sixteen years later she learned that Lori - her cousin, friend, and sister-by-heart - also had the disease. Breast cancer is prevalent in Jen's mother's family, but thankfully all women were survivors. Although an advocate for breast cancer research and care since her mother's diagnosis, it wasn't until Lori's passing that Jen took a more active role by walking the Susan G. Komen 3-Day and raising funds for the cause. When Robyn Dragonetti stepped down as President of Lori's Breast Friends, Jen immediately accepted the request to succeed. Her work with Lori's Breast Friends has become an integral part of Jen's life, following only her family and friends - including Lori's three wonderful boys - in importance.
